We'll do our best to add this feature as soon as possible, but we don't have an estimated delivery date. Any categories you created in the desktop apps are still available to select, but you can't create new categories or delete or rename existing categories. Important: Our desktop app is no longer available. You can choose existing categories for your Secure Notes, which helps you sort your notes. Files attached to Secure Notes are not included in DASH exports either. Note: For now, you can't attach files to shared Secure Notes, and you can't share notes that already have files attached. Dashlane deletes the revoked shared Secure Note from the other Dashlane accounts. If you share a Secure Note with the incorrect person or group or change your mind, you can edit or revoke access to the Secure Note. If you're a member of a Dashlane Starter, Team, or Business plan, you can also share Secure Notes with Dashlane groups. Enter one or more email addresses and select Send.

Open or edit the Secure Note and select Share, sometimes shown as a person-with-an-arrow icon. Share a Secure Note with other peopleĪfter creating a Secure Note, you can safely share it with other people with Dashlane accounts. Dashlane deletes revoked shared Secure Notes from the other Dashlane accounts. If you no longer want to share a Secure Note with a person or group but don't want to delete the note, you can revoke access to it. If you delete a Secure Note you created and then shared, Dashlane will delete the note from all Dashlane accounts. If you delete a Secure Note someone else created and shared with you, Dashlane will only delete the note from your account. Open or edit the Secure Note and select Delete, sometimes shown as a trash bin icon or as an option in the 3-dot menu. You can delete any Secure Note from your account. If you've locked your note, you need to enter your Master Password to access this note from the search bar. Search for a Secure Note using Dashlane's search bar. Enter your note and select the back arrow icon to save it.Open the Dashlane app, select Home, then Secure Notes.Enter your note and select Done, then Close.

Thank God I had only typed a 4 digit password to the section and for me it was then a matter of guessing the last letter of the password and alas! after a short trial and error, section unlocked! The application took a whooping 10 HOURS to achieve this.

Because I am poor as a church mouse I used the free version which reveals only three letters of the password. I, however, did find a piece of Onenote password recovery software which I dejectedly and resignedly put to work. I desperately went online for possible solutions - OneNote does not have a password recovery option if you happen to forget the password.

Then I got into other things and completely forgot about the password! The horror of realizing that I'd forgotten the password and faced the probability of losing an entire section that had several pages on it! I chose a random section on a busy notebook and casually typed some random password. I read about passwords to OneNote sections and thought I'd try it out.
